Kelly graduated from Carleton University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in law. She has been an associate member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada since 2001. Prior to commencing employment with Marks & Clerk in 1999, Mrs. Brady was a licensed Private Investigator.

Kelly recently earned her first degree black belt in the Okinawan Traditional Shorin-Ryu style of Karate. She is now a Sensei of her own karate school in the town in which she resides.

In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is also very community oriented, volunteering many hours coaching children's teams, catering weddings and banquets, as well as raising funds for community betterment projects.
